BUILT SO AI ENGINES SEE A CAFE

AI search reads your site differently than a person.

People can look at your homepage and tell in two seconds that you're a real cafe with a counter, a menu, and a place to sit. AI search tools and answer engines can't do that unless the underlying data tells them. In a nationwide audit of more than a thousand specialty shops, most scored only in the mid teens out of forty on basic search and AI readiness, and about four in five had almost no supporting content. The common pattern was a homepage and an Instagram account that read like a bag store shipping beans, not a walk in specialty cafe with a room, a bar, and hours. Without cafe schema, that's exactly how a lot of AI systems read an independent coffee shop site, the same way they'd read any small retail page selling a product online.

We build out cafe schema, structured data that plainly labels what your business is, where it is, what it serves, and how it's open, so the systems increasingly used to answer "where should I get coffee" have an accurate, specific answer to give. Right now, on "best coffee shops in [city]" searches, classic AI Overviews that name actual local shops by name are still uncommon, organic results skew toward listicles, Reddit threads, and visitor sites, and Maps tends to do the better job of surfacing independents. Clear schema is how you get named correctly and cited as a cafe instead of lumped in with mail order retailers.

What we build. Cafe schema, structured data that labels what the business is, where it is, what it serves and when it is open. Consistent facts, with the same name, address, phone number and hours on the site, the profile and the schema. Clear, quotable answers on your pages, such as where you are, what you serve and when you are open. And checks: we test the markup and look at what AI assistants say about your cafe today.

Honest expectations. On best coffee shops in a city searches, AI answers that name specific local shops are still uncommon, and Maps often does the better job of surfacing independents. Clear data does not guarantee a mention. It makes sure that when your cafe is mentioned, it is named and described correctly.

Questions we hear. Is schema visible on my site? No, it is read by machines, which is why most agencies skip it. Do I need to change platforms? No, schema can be added to the site you already have. Will this make ChatGPT recommend my cafe? We cannot promise that. We can make sure the facts about your cafe are accurate and easy to read.

This is the layer most agencies skip entirely.

Most coffee marketing agencies focus on how a website looks. Structured data doesn't show up visually at all. It's read by machines, not people. That's exactly why it gets skipped, and exactly why it's the layer that decides whether AI search finds you.
