TECHNICAL SEO FOR REAL CAFES
Your website should say "coffee shop," clearly.
Search a city for a good coffee shop and the best ones often don't show up. That's not a coffee problem, it's a technical SEO problem, and it's common. Across more than 1,000 specialty shops we've audited nationwide, from the Southeast to the Northeast, Midwest, and West, the median site scores in the mid teens out of forty, and about four in five have almost no blog or content footprint at all. Most independent cafe websites are built in a drag and drop tool by an owner who's also running a roastery, a staff, and a full cafe, so what gets skipped is the layer underneath: clean titles, working HTTPS, and a homepage that actually reads as a walk in cafe instead of an online bag of beans store.
We fix that layer. It's often why the map listing shows the real independent shop while the website itself lags behind listicles, Reddit threads, and city tourism pages for "best coffee shops in [city]." If you have more than one location, each cafe gets its own real page, not a shared locations list that quietly 404s or blurs every shop into one.
What goes wrong most often. Page titles that say the brand name and nothing about being a coffee shop. A homepage that reads like an online bag shop instead of a room with a counter, a menu and hours. One locations page that blurs several shops into one, or quietly 404s. Missing or broken HTTPS, duplicate pages and links that point to old addresses.
What we do. We rewrite page titles and descriptions so each page says what it is and where. We restructure the homepage so search can tell you are a walk in specialty cafe. We give every location its own real page with its own address and hours, and we fix the technical basics: HTTPS, redirects, duplicates and broken links.
Questions we hear. Do I need a new website? No. We work on the structure underneath the site you already have. Will this change how my site looks? Very little, because the work is page structure, titles and hidden data, not design. What if I have more than one location? Each location gets its own page, so Google treats every shop as its own place.

You likely keep your current website and provider.
This isn't a redesign pitch. Most café sites can stay right where they are, on the platform you already use. What we change is what's underneath: page structure, basic hygiene, and location pages, so search engines can finally read your café correctly.
